Position Description
The Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching (GANT) will provide key support to the Transfer Student Program (TSP) by assisting with program facilitation, assessment, and communications. This position plays a central role in supporting the Transfer Luminary Scholars (TLS) program, maintaining program assessment and tracking systems, and enhancing outreach through social media and digital platforms.
Expectations
- Support Transfer Luminary Scholars program.
- Assist with TSP and TLS program assessment and reporting.
- Support TSP and TLS marketing and communications initiatives.
- Handle administrative and office duties such as phone inquiries, email correspondence, and general duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Texas A&M University graduate program.
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt; can be trained with ease in new tasks.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance graduate studies, work responsibilities, and personal commitments.
Preferred Qualifications (any or all)
- Experience in student affairs, higher education, or related field.
- Familiarity with assessment methods, event coordination, and program evaluation.
- Experience with social media platforms, Canva, website editing (CMS), and digital marketing.
