Mays Transfer Student Alliance

For students in Mays Business School

The Mays Transfer Student Alliance helps business-minded transfer students connect early and develop day-one academic and career skills. Collaborate with peers and faculty, attend professional events, and gain insight into surviving and thriving academically and socially in the Mays School.

How to Join the Teams Channel

Get Microsoft Teams (TAMU Office 365)

Desktop (Windows/Mac)

1. Go to office.com and click Sign in.
2. Sign in with your NetID@tamu.edu and password (Duo may prompt).
3. Click the Apps launcher (grid) → Microsoft Teams.
4. Click Get the app to download, then install.
5. Open Teams → Sign in with NetID@tamu.edu.

Mobile (iOS/Android)

1. Open the App Store or Google Play.
2. Search “Microsoft Teams” → Install.
3. Open the app → Sign in with NetID@tamu.edu (approve Duo).

Join an Alliance Teams Channel

1. Open Teams and select Teams in the left menu.
2. Click Join .
3. Use one of these options:
   • Search for the team by name:
     • “Engineering Transfer Student Alliance” or use direct link
     • “Mays Transfer Student Alliance” or use direct link
     • “Bush Transfer Student Alliance” or use direct link
4. Click Join team.
5. In the team, open the General channel and click Follow (bell icon) so you get meeting/event notifications.
