First-generation panelists will provide insights on existing first-generation practices, policies, and programmatic efforts to help advance first-generation student outcomes at Texas A&M. The group will explore four themes, including Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) first-generation students, first-gen populations in graduate schools, supporting first-gen students' career readiness, and a critical look at the evolution of higher education in times of unpredictable challenge and opportunity.
