Stephanie is a first-generation senior at Texas A&M University from College Station, Texas. She is pursuing a bacheler's degree in psychology and will graduate in May 2025. Stephanie began her career in 2004 as a professional independent cosmetologist and returned to college to change course in fall 2020.

In June 2023, Stephanie was hired as a non-traditional transfer student peer mentor with the Transfer Student Program and facilitated events to foster community among non-traditional students. She has also held research assistant positions at two TAMU campus labs, served on a local convention planning committee, and led a team at her local church.

Stephanie has now transitioned to an administrative coordinator supporting the First Year Experience and Transfer Student Programs.

Advice for students: Exploring a new direction in life is always possible. Setbacks are part of the path to progress. What is new and different can be uncomfortable and intimidating, but you will make it through by asking questions and taking it one day at a time!
