FYEats Purpose

Today, many people worldwide struggle with hunger and food insecurity due to being financially unable to support their basic needs. We want to eliminate students' thoughts of "where my next meal will come from" as we seek to establish food security.

This program strives to provide students in the First Year Eats with food to narrow the gap of food insecurity.

Monday Meals

The First Year Eats program presents Monday Meals! Students can pick up home-cooked meals every other Monday (2PM-5PM) from the 2nd floor of Hotard Hall. Registration is required.

FYEats Team

I just want to thank y'all for everything you guys are doing within the First Year Eats program. The food I receive from the program, especially tonight, never disappoints and always leaves me wanting more! The beef enchilada casserole served tonight was a blessing because I've been homesick and missing San Antonio, where I'm from a lot. This casserole taste just like something my mom would make! I am also so glad to be receiving ideas for how I can cook easy, but delicious and filling means for myself in the future."
