Campus Coordination

The Routh First-Generation Center, housed in the Office for Student Success, was created in 2019 to coordinate campus-wide efforts in first-generation programming. Campus-wide coordination includes communication, alignment, and assessment of programs such as First-Generation College Celebration and Regents’ Scholars.

The First-Generation Coordinating Committee brings together representatives from each undergraduate college, student affairs, academic affairs, McAllen, and Galvestion on a biweekly basis. If you have any questions about the committee, you may contact lety-palomin@tamu.edu
