Navigate For Students

Texas A&M University has launched a mobile application called Navigate Student to help you stay on track throughout your college experience.

Navigate will support you here at Texas A&M by helping you:

  • View your Class Schedule and locations
  • See upcoming To-Do’s and events and stay on top of registration, academic and payment deadlines
  • Schedule Advising Appointments
  • Connect through Study Buddies
  • Receive alerts on Holds
  • Find Resources  at Texas A&M from your phone
  • Major Explorer – Find out information about your major and career options that match your interests
  • Add personal Reminders to keep on task

Scheduling an Appointment



FAQs

To make an appointment with your academic advisor or other student service office, click the purple Appointments icon in your Navigate Student App. You will select your college and appointment service. Click on an available time and confirm your appointment. You will receive an email instantly notifiying you have scheduled the appointment and a reminder the day before your appointment.

Make sure to read any comments in the email for office locations or Zoom links. 
Make sure you are logging in with your TAMU NetID and Password, the same login you use to access Howdy. 

If you are a prospective TAMU student or a student who is not currently enrolled you will not be able to access Navigate unitl you are enrolled. 

If you are still unable to login please email navigate@tamu.edu from your TAMU email with your full name and UIN. 
In Navigate, time slots for offices are open on various rolling basises. For some offices you might see a week out, two weeks, a month or the whole semester. 
If you do not see an appointment time availability it is either because there are not any left for the time period, because you have class during the times the staff member has available or you have hit your max number of late cancels/no shows. 

Some offices offer drop-in advising, if you do not see an appointment click "View Drop-In Times."
Pre-Registration is a very busy time for advising offices so make sure to plan ahead!
If you are not a currently enrolled student, a prospective student or seeking readmission you will not have an active Navigate account. You will want to contact the department you want to meet with directly. 

Once you are enrolled you will be able to use Navigate to make future appointments.
