New Advisor Onboarding

The Office for Student Success recognizes that academic advisors enter the advising profession with different educational and professional experiences. To honor recommendation number 4 of the Student Success Task Force Report, all newly hired academic advisors are required to complete the trainings below to facilitate the onboarding and socialization process for academic advisors who advise undergraduate students at Texas A&M University. Additionally, new academic advisors should refer to the New Advisor Onboarding Guide and consult with their supervisor to learn about other opportunities to develop and grow in the advising profession.
