New Advisor Onboarding
The Office for Student Success recognizes that academic advisors enter the advising profession with different educational and professional experiences. To honor recommendation number 4 of the
Student Success Task Force Report
, all newly hired academic advisors are required to complete the trainings below to facilitate the onboarding and socialization process for academic advisors who advise undergraduate students at Texas A&M University. Additionally, new academic advisors should refer to the New Advisor Onboarding Guide and consult with their supervisor to learn about other opportunities to develop and grow in the advising profession.
