Meredith Malnar is the Director for the First Year Experience within Texas A&M’s Office for Student Success. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. She has 18 years of experience in the field of orientation, transition, retention, and first-year programs, having served in progressively responsible positions within New Student & Family Programs and Student Life prior to joining the team in the Office for Student Success.  As Director for the First Year Experience, Meredith oversees initiatives related to first year student success including Hullabaloo U.
 
Advice for students: Finding community is a cornerstone of your Aggie experience! Like most worthwhile pursuits, finding your place and your people often requires an investment of work, time, and trial and error. If you don’t find your niche right away, don’t give up!
