Dr. Leticia Palomin earned her B.A. in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration, both from Texas A&M University. She is a Rio Grande Valley native from Pharr, Texas, and a proud first-generation Aggie graduate. 

Before joining the Office for Student Success in the Routh First-Generation Center as Program Manager, Leticia has worked for the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid and the College of Education and Human Development. She worked for the Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color ("Consortium"). A joint partnership between Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Austin, the Consortium focused on advancing the educational outcomes (i.e., transitions, academic experiences co-curricular experiences, and degree completion) of male students of color across the P-16 educational pipeline in Texas.

In addition, Leticia is actively involved at the state and national level in the educational research community. Past research studies have included Latina/o parent involvement in the pre-college process, financial aid literacy for historically minoritized and marginalized groups, the role power plays within an organization; evidence-based practices to gain institutional support for student success initiatives, and faculty and staff cultural/student development.
